I have plans to run an AudioQue AQ2200D in a 2001.5 Passat (call it a 2002).

I'd like to know what I need as far as electrical upgrades.

I'd also like to know what a batcap would/wouldn't do for someone that likes to have a constant beat going.

Lastly, if I need a second battery, how would I wire it up to the rest of the charging system?

Thank you.

EDIT: I believe the stock alt is about 90 amps.

If you are willing to spend the money a new alt would be best. But another battery would help, wire it.....

Front battery + to rear battery + and front battery - to rear battery -

I would do a nice upfront battery, the big three, and a big battery in the back (maybe two). I would do the alternator last.
