    it will look darker on the coil.

    and your sub wont even play near as loud as it should.

    you would be able to smell something funny for sure. When a sub of mine a while back had a burnt voice coil I made the mistake of putting in my room and it stunk up my room and left the burnt smell in their for a few days.
