I came across this box and it says its only 3 cubic feet.

This does not seem correct. The recommendation for the sub is anywhere from 2.8-4 cubic feet.

well im no expert but i dont think ur sub will sound as good as it could in that box. it is probably tuned high.

and there is a video on youtube of a guy running a BL of that amp i think. i beleive he said the amp is way over rated.

i calculated the dimensions and got some were close to 6.5 cu. ft before displacment. that is a decent sized port so it may be 3 cu. ft. after port displacement
