June 6, 200916 yr Agreed. They are for people who like to have their trunk open A LOT just to show off their pretty fiberglass box. Built one in my buddies '04 Monte Carlo. Pair of 12" CVR's and if you where outside the car with the trunk open it sounded good, inside the car with the trunk closed it had teh bass of the factory Bose system with the rattles of a childs play toy...Took it out, sold it and built a real box and he wa MUCH happier
