April 27, 200916 yr first off the bass boost is a big no no. you want that at 0. for the subsonic filter we need to know if your box is ported or not and if it is what is it tuned to. for the x over point start at 80hz and adjust it down and up a little at a time (no more then around 20hz either way) until you like how it sounds. but before you adjust anything let us know your box type so you dont bottom your sub out having the subsonic filter to low. and turn your bass boost all the way down no good will come from it being up. April 29, 200916 yr If he's talking about the bass setting on the head unit, it could either be boost or just the subwoofer output. If it's a boost (usually accompanied by a frequency, like 60 or 80 hz) then you don't want that all the way up. If it's the subwoofer output level, that can be all the way up and be fine. That's a setting for the whole signal.
