Posted April 29, 200916 yr I want to put a 17 or 19" dell monitor and adapt it to play my music videos out of the trunk at the same time my pioneer 700bt is playing. It can be done I was told by custom sounds, but you need to have an video adapter. any other suggestions? I am trying to do this the cheapest way. OR I can buy a 20" tv and just plug it right into my (yellow) rca video cable and run with it. But I was wondering if there was another CHEAP way around 200$ or less. And yes the bang will problably shatter the screen but I might put it in my back window, don't know quite yet. thanks fellas
April 29, 200916 yr the cheapest way is to buy a cheap flat 120volt tv IMO. also i can normaly get 15-20 inch drops for 250-400
April 29, 200916 yr Author Does your friend that has all the audio for sale got one?You can get one for 250? I might just do that, lmk what the deal is.
April 29, 200916 yr Buy a monitor that already has a composite input. Most of the Dell's already have this option.
April 29, 200916 yr but you would need to run an inverter.x2 thats for sure no matter what he chooses to do... unless he gets a drop screen. Edited April 29, 200916 yr by IllKillYou
April 29, 200916 yr Author you need a new alt first:|Ha, tell me about it.... New tires and then alt. then screen. But still check it out, I am gonna work on that.I still need a converter. Someone from San Marcos said that Radioshack sells em for that application.13.2-13.4 volts isn't enough, New alternator that provides 14-14.4 would be nice! I can hopefully get more out of the TL with more power!

April 29, 200916 yr Author Even with a dell monitor (which I was going to use anyway) you need a 25-35 dollar s-video converter. I was chattin with a guy from San Marcos about it a few days ago about it, he says alot of the people round Austin do that cause it is cheaper than buying a 400 flip down 8" screen haha.
April 29, 200916 yr I fail to see why you need to spend $30 on an adapter...http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.c...FTOKEN=15436526
