Had this set up for bout 3 years now no probs but over the last month when i listen to it at 28 and above the treble get all muffled and u cant hear the highs. When i turn it down to say 20-24 for a min or so the treble returns and all is normal. this happen no matter what source i use Ipod/CD/Tuner and it is hap more freq. Is it the HU/Amp/Mid&high??? or RCA cables???

could be speaker or a crossover goin bad, what are u running speaker wise?

ED 6000 6.5 set. Is there a way to check the xovers

umm idk actually, id start by going over the install, checking wires for corrosion or if a wire came alittle loose, definitely check grounds.

Yea looking over it now and all wires are still secure same with grounds... going to try and hook up my rear speakers and see if i get the same prob.....
