Also what do you need for do it you're self tower speakers? I have all Infinity speakers right now, and I've had the system for about 4 year's and I'm starting to get a little bored, plus my main speakers are kinda weak on the bass. I would like to build a Tower speaker that can handle my reciever Bi amped at 220 watts each speaker. I would like to do either for the tweeter, a horn loaded or a ribbon or a ring radiator, How do you figure out the impedence of the speakers and powerhandling of them?? I just think it would be bad a$$ to have some monster tower speakers and home sub like, Chicken's towers and all those crown amps powering them :coolugh:

What is your goal out of this system. Just SPL?

Don't say I want it to be loud and sound good. Define what you want. Do you hope to acheive a specific HZ goal?

is this to be for HT or for music. If music, what kind?

Two things currently when I turn my reciever way up my treble totally drowns the bass out, but mainly you can tell that the klipsch is tuned high so I want something that is Tuned way lower at like 20 hz. It's probally used about 60/40 movies/music I'm not worried about SPL in the room thats what the car is for
