I have an idea that you guys should make a SSA.Com book, that has most of the pinned topics like setting gains etc, Iron Law's all that advanced discussion type of stuff, Theile Parameters, Enclosure Design, Different Formula's, Make it come with a SSA Test Tone CD, and maybe a limited edition SSA MultiMeter. But anyway with the Profit of buying this say for like $20 for a book or maybe like $10 for the PDF goes to organising a SSA SPL and SQ lane/carshow type of thing once or twice a year. You could also make it into a downloadable (for a fee) PDF. I mean all the information is already here. But everyone know's when you're on the toilet you want something to read right how about a Sound Solutions Audio Car Audio Encyclopedia?

I take it noone think's this is a good idea? A. I think if it would improve the knowledge of the people who purchased the book. B. I think if it drew enough money, to support some type of SSA gathering's, It would help advertise the brand's on this forum such as, SSA, Sundown, Fi, IA etc. And most importantly the event would bring SSA member together to check each others setups out. And have a chance to get metered etc, get pointers. Sounds like a great idea to me. Maybe I'm just crazy, but when i'm taking a number 2, I would like to read about advanced enclosure's, Iron Law's etc

It's 1 am here, so I doubt that many normal people on. Nice idea though, just don't think people would buy it. When they can get the info on the net for free, or they might just not care to learn.

Yea they can get the info off this very site, but this would be a nice hardcover book for us desktop guys you cant take on the road, to the shop, or to the store. But mostly it would be to support a SSA gathering I mean if there were 100 books bought in a year that would be enough to hold an event I would say. If some member's brough there own Termlab or something it could. Buy food to be cooked and sold to further try to not be in the hole off the whole event.

Oh yea, would be awesome if it worked out. I'd go to the events food, and car audio seems sweet to me.
