I'm looking at getting a headunit to play my ipod and cds. I don't want bluetooth, or anything else like that. Having an aux input could come in handy if I want to plug in my phone (blackberry) and play music off that. I'll be powering my stock speakers in my 96 accord sedan off the headunit, and then will have a sub hooked up to it (SAE-1000D to an SSA Icon 10"). I already ordered the amp from db-R and the sub/box from Quentin.

Anyway, Crutchfield has the Pioneer DEH-p6000UB for only 150, which seems like a great deal?

I was also looking at the pioneer deh-p510ub for 185 at sonicelectronix or woofersetc. I've heard some iffy things about both of these websites???

Anything else you recommend in this price range (under 200) that might be better? If not, I'm probably going to order it tonight.

Cliffnotes:

96 accord

stock speakers, no plans to upgrade

SAE-1000D to an SSA Icon 10" sub

Is there anyone in Houston willing to help with the installation of my sub and amp, and set it all up? I'm afraid I'm going to mess up some settings and blow my sub.
