Ok so I sealed up the rear deck of my car, I have the MDF ready to be cut and set into place. My plan is to cut a 2" hole in the MDF to run my RCAs and power wire through, not sure how i can seal that up, any ideas? then im going to cut the speaker holes and mount the subs on the other side. that will be roughly 1" clearance from the back of my seat. I was going to try and find some rubber gasket at home depot to put around the MDF to seal it up to my seat opening surround. Does all of this sound like it will work out? Also im running a pair of boston acoustic g2 12s on my aq1200d for this setup

Don't expect much output with the seats up. As for the hole, use some caulk or expanding foam if you can.

well one seat will be down a good majority of the time im not really looking for insane loud with this car, just trying to get the trunk space back for the wife so the 15s had to come out. but its all good, she gave me permission( yea i said it, she gave me permission )to buy a car to wall out with 6 to 10 12s the end of the summer

It's all good. Just make sure the front and rear waves are as isolated from each other as best you possibly can. Don't be afraid to pull all the interior panels out to make sure they are. You'd be surprised how many extra holes there are that will need sealing.

Ive had the car taken apart a few times before and surprisingly in this car, other than the rear deck and the huge hole where the trunk opening is from the back seats, there are no more holes lucky me

You may want to shore up that thin sheet metal that sits behind the seats. Even though there are no holes, that stuff flexes and vibrates like crazy.

well im mounting a 3/4" piece of MDF behind it im sure thats enough for it

so i got the wood cut out for the trunk opening, just need to cut the speaker holes, paint the front of the box(going to carpet when i get some) spray foam a few spots and Done

ok so i got all the big holes covered, just a few with the spray foam and we are ready to Go

Mind you this is my first IB install, first time cutting stuff that actually has to fit good and first time using carpet

All foamed up and done. just gotta attempt to make an amp rack tomorrow, cover it and install those, clean up my wiring and scrape off the old foam on the carpet. and done

Thanks, im quite please with the way it has turned out appearance wise but I am thinking about un screwing the baffle and seat bracket and putting carpet around the whole thing to cover up the metal

The baffle turned out good and looks to be a clean install. Is that a bandsaw in the dining room?

I am building an amp rack today and wanted to no if it can sit up close to the subs and kinda near the magnet, it wont be touching but only about 1/2" away will this be ok, here is a pic of my idea

Well i made the amp rack alot taller i dont see why it would cause any sound issues here is what she looks like

I'd keep it as open as possible behind the drivers. Don't worry about the subsonic filter, it won't be needed. If you want to use it for safety's sake, set it at 20. Keep in mind, with this application power handling will be at least cut in half.

BTW, is that a Taurus/Sable trunk? It looks eerily familiar.

So someone told me having the amp rack there is a bad idea and one person said its a "loading wall" WTF does that mean? should i take down my amp rack

I think the amp rack is ok, but you definitely need something to stabilize that battery. Don't let it just sit there.

Loading is using a nearby object to reinforce the output. This will not be happening in this instance and is negated by the fact that the entire trunk is essentially a large sealed enclosure. All the air in the trunk is the air spring. That wall will have zero effect in this application.
