How come you want it tuned to 26hz? And if your heart is set on 4inch ports, your going to need like 7 of them ??. Are you just not sure you can handle building a slot port or just dont want one?

i have never done a ported box and just thought it would be easyer to do pvc the first time it does not have to be ported to 26hz--but would like it to be around -26hz to 30hz- i have 4- 8'' drivers and 4- 6.5'' the 8'' r under my back seat and 2 of the 6.5s r in the kicks and in the bottom of the back doors and i have 6.5'' comps in each door in the factory 6x8-openings-runing on mmats-sq4070-and-linear power-2202s---just need some more bottom end and thought tuneing it lower like 26-30-hz would be fine but i dont no any help would be nice and thank you will be runing orion 2100hcca amp on ea sub if that helps

The manufactor says 3cuft box with a 4" x 13.5" aero port... That would be tuned at 26hz with and f3 of 25hz

here is the link to the manufactures page

well can you tell me what you would do with this sub setup if you have a better box inmind that will sound good and pound hard any help would be nice ? i was told by someone that i would need to do a box that had 4.5cf ea sub and two 4'' pvc ports 17'' long for ea sub what do you think-just let me no

i had just at 10 cubes for my 2 15s in my 95 explorer and it slammed a 4inch port is just 12.56 of surface area so im thinking 4 16inch would be much nicer in there "guessing" ..around 16inches long. i had 2 kove armageddon z which might not me much different a woofer? i do as close to 5cubes for my 15 boxes as i can. also in suvs i run my port up for music boxes . if your heart set on a rear fire port make sure you have room between the enclosure and the tail gate.

so you think i should do a commman chamber box r do a box so ea sub is in its on airspace --and do 4--4'' ports for ea sub -r- 2--4'' for ea sub---just need to get it done soon will have to go back to work in 5 days and thats 7/12s no time for fun for the next 3 month's ---is there something wrong with port back and subs up---thanks alot man for any info

i just think that the port back is punchy and boomy sounding . but IMO all up is a depper flowing bass like jeezy and stuff has in it . common chamber should be fine. But id get away from the 4 inch ports and just get 4 6inch. or yes 8 4inch
