Hello everyone, its my birthday on Monday, June 1 and for a present im getting POWER ACOUSTIK BAMF5500/1D 5500W MONO CLASS D AMPLIFIER.

Does anyone have some experience with this amp, because i think this is a little bit over rated ?

more than a bit overrated. i sell them at my work bestbuy online they are like 250 dollars, and that was the prive so we could get ride of them. they had three different amps at 5500 watts with different looks but with the same internals.

can u tell me how much it can but out @ 2ohms ?

I wouldn't get it regardless. Probably not very efficient. Can you give more info on your setup(Subs, electrical upgrades, component speakers, etc.)?

im about to start building at summer, i would hook up woofer dual voice coil 4+4 in parallel, so it would work at 2ohms.

this is all i can tell at the moment. Looking parts at the moment, but this would be the amp im going to use.

Alright probably one of these will be my woofer:

Pioneer TS-W307D4

(RMS/MAX): 400/1200 W

4+4 Ohm (i would bridge to 2ohms)

OR

Soundstream XPRO-12

RMS 600 W / MAX 1000 W

4 + 4 Ohm (i would bridge to 2ohms)

are you married to that decision on subs. surprised you didn't say type R or something. look into the SSA Dcon. with sundown 1000d should sound better than those options, and maybe cheaper unless you have a hook up on those speakers/amps.

I mean this amp makes some noise, i saw videos when this amp was powering 4 subs, and it sounded good. My plan is to find some kinda subs that are at least 1000W RMS but the place im living its hard and expensive.

there is a combo package in the SSA shop SSA Icon plus a 1000d you should look at and its 1000 rms like you want.

Look for some Ground Zero offerings. There has to be some dealer close by.

Or DLD (They are made in Austria). There also is an FI / AA dealer and a DC dealer in UK.

If you can't find anything I could ship GZ your way. Or even DLD if things go as planned for some of the people here.

The tsw307's are cool subs in my opinion. A pair of them on 1000w quite impressive.

He's quite a bit of a distance away from the US. Shipping a sub that heavy is going to cost a bit.

shipping would be almost the same price like sub itself, cuz if product is over $45 i need to pay other taxes

memphis stuff is all good imo memphis amps are real nice.

i remember that, it was 250W RMS and 500W max, and he said that its better than power acoustic.

memphis had 2x20A Fuses.

Ight i have decided, because paypal and ebay are pissing me off i will not buy that monoblock. Ill go and check out go-ho audio shop and also best buy, for some smaller but better known company amp.

i also decided what woofer im going to get, it will be a Vibe Space 12" (1000WRMS/3000WMAX)
