Posted May 31, 200916 yr Hi everybody,I'm getting rid of my rear speakers : I can't hear them with my 15" Icon playing!I will only keep my Focal 165 KP front speakers, but I don't want to go active. What should I do? Keep my current 4 channels amp and bridge it to the Focal? (This amp puts out 2*225 watts rms)Or sell it and buy a 2 ch amp (to save some power , and maybe some space and weight)I was looking at the Sundown amps : 125*2 or the 100*2. What do you think? What would you do?
May 31, 200916 yr Bridge your 4 channel to the front before you buy anything. I just did this with my Fosgate 450.4 on a set of Boston pro60's and they sound really nice. You could hook up your rear speakers to the head unit for fill.
May 31, 200916 yr Author Ok , I will bridge the channels. I can't buy anything these days. no money left!I said "save power" in case I had to leave 2 channels unplugged !I must be careful with the gain, I really don't want to loose my speakers.BTW these components speakers sound soooo good, I love them more and more!!!!! (I don,t work or sell for them!!)
