Hey guys, so I am looking into learning to play guitar, and I came across a buddy selling a used Squier Bullet with a Behringer BX600 amp, with case and Boss MT-2 footpedal for $200...

is this a good deal? For a beginner at least? Thanks

Is it a bass cause when i search Behringer BX600 on google it only brings up bass amps.

No I think it's a regular guitar, is it bad that they're using a bass amp?

Yeah you probably don't want to get a bass amp with a regular guitar.

Think about it this way.

Playing a regular guitar on a bass amp is like playing highs on a sub.

If you want to get a package with an amp and guitar getting something like this wouldn't be a bad idea -

You can pretty much get a package like that from any guitar company, so if you have a favorite or something you can probably find it.

Its a bass designed amp, but to get the idea of fingering without distortition, or reverb it will work.

The guitar is from a decent company, and should produce good sound. Just wath the tuning on the guitar and amp.
