Posted June 6, 200916 yr I drive a nissan maxima, and I need a system that will be the BEST I CAN GET for my car. I'm not really crazy for competition, I just want to be be heard from far away when i drive and make sure everyone in the block heres me when i stop at a traffic light/stop sign lol. So will a FI BTL 15 on sundown 2000 in a ported box be good for that purpose or something less expensive such as 2 alpine type r 12s or 2 kicker cvr 12s in a sealed box. I also plan to fiberglass my box and raamat the shit out of my car. I am in somewhat of a budget, i dont want to go for more than $1000 for the sub(s)/amp, but i upgraded all the electricals in my car already (Optima yellow top, kinetic hc1800 as 2nd, stinger 0 gauge). Please give me suggestions so i can get the best system that meets my goals.By the way, i can only fit 1 15 ported, 2 15s sealed, 2 12s ported, and 3 12s sealed just to give you an idea on my trunk size. Thanks Edited June 6, 200916 yr by hondafreek

Thanks yea, i agree. if you want people to hear you, don't use sound deadening. do you want this to sound good, or just make noise? you could get creative with a BTL 12 and a 6th order bandpass to make a 1 note wonder, then drive around with a test tone on repeat Edited June 6, 200916 yr by Solid_State13
June 6, 200916 yr Prepare to get flamed op. Your system is supposed to be for your enjoyment only. But im sure some other members will be in here soon to tell you about that.
June 6, 200916 yr This thread should probably be deleted before //M5 makes this kid cry and despise SSA
June 6, 200916 yr I dont think this is the right forum for you. Your probably better off at caraudio.com's forum.

June 6, 200916 yr We're not going to help you with goals like that. We don't think public menaces are cool.
June 6, 200916 yr Although what you do when you drive around is your own business, you should have just said in your first post "help me achieve 140dB + in my maxima" then listed your setup options and left out your need to drive around full tilt. People will respond more kindly to that and you might even get some good info/help. Edited June 6, 200916 yr by Rapatari
June 6, 200916 yr OHH and you can get lke 20 marine 6 1/2s and put them under the car and maybe a tv for a back window so other people can watch it from thier car tooo...i bet that will be fun..lol dude really if your windows are down i can understand being heard outside of your car but when thoes windows are up its better not to hear shit.. not everyone wants to hear you.

June 6, 200916 yr mine has muffled bass but am running 5000 watts I can hear other slight rattles but no where near what I have heard on others
June 6, 200916 yr the cheapest way to do this would be to buy a snub nose .38, put it up to your head and pull the trigger. people will hear you from more than a mile away. seriously though, you agreed to the terms and conditions when you joined this forum, so READ them before you make threads like this. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=22849http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=13994
