I am looking at getting a new woofer for my car. I will be running 4000 watts when i redo my system and was wondering if the LVL 4 XL will hold up to this amount of power or will i definitely have to look at the LVL 5? It will be used mainly for daily use with occasional spl use.

i'm not an expert, but I would say the lvl 5 would be the sub for you.

lvl4xl will work there is a guy on **** running 4k to his

but it's going to be worth the little extra for the lvl5 just for the peace of mind

right now i am running 1 amp by SPL. The biggest they have its called 5500D. Puts out right around 2000 watts rms at 1 ohm. When i redo my system, i will be running 2 of these amps, I already have the second one.
