Posted June 16, 200916 yr Okay, i got my amp and i know what subs im going to buy.Amplifier: Kenwood KAC-9104DWoofers:2 x Fli Frequency 15400W RMS each1200W MAX eachSingle voice coil 4 ohms eachhttp://akustika.ee/pood/index.php?GID=1971...mp;currency=EEKsorry this page is in another language but hopefully you get basic info if needed.Question is, if i wire these two subs in parallel the resistance is going to be 2 ohms ?
June 16, 200916 yr Author yesThank you, i thought that it will only work with dual voice coil speaker, but i was wrong.
June 16, 200916 yr coil is a coil is a coil.Wire batts in parallel and their resistance splits in half too.
June 16, 200916 yr To be accurate, the impedance will be 2 ohms. The resistance will be a little lower. But that doesn't matter, the combination is correct for your amplifier. And you can basically think of a dual voice coil sub as two subs. They interact the same in wiring anyways.
