This is our first attempt at a comp. There are no great awards. It's really just for fun. It's not an official DB Drag or Bass Race. I will be trying to stick to the rules so that at the next event it can be official and everyone will be used to it. Come on out if you're in the area. If you're a major competitor, you'll be severely disappointed. It's just going to be people with street beaters. It is our first try so it probably won't be as well organized or as professional as it can be. We are learning... At any rate, It should be fun.

Anyways, here are the details:

We will meet at the Kroger parking lot near Fazoli's and Blockbuster and then head to the location of the comp. Again, it is July 11, 2009 and the judging for class begins at 9pm.

The competition cannot be held inside the city limits of Mt. Vernon due to new stereo laws and a lack of anyone allowing us to use their property. We will be leaving the city limits where there is no sound ordinance.
