well im looking to go 3 way in the next couple of months and i think i have found my system.

this is going in my jeep

hu- clariondxz785usb

amps- sundown 100.2 and 100.4

speakers(this is where I need opinions)

tweets- seas prestige 27tffnc/g

midrange- Eminence alpha-6a

midbass- peerless nomex 8"

plan on having midbass in door sealed and midrange and tweets in kicks. Does any one have any objections to this setup. and will these speakers work good together

anyone?realy i would ike to know if my choice of midbass and midrange are good for car audio aplications

For starters I would cross the eminence off the list. Not a big fan of pro-audio stuff. Easier to fit a 3-4 inch mid in kicks.

As far as midbass goes, if you have the room, you could very well step up to the SLS 8. The Nomex isn't a slouch either.

For tweeters you could also look at the LPG offerings. I listened to the softdome LPG in a 3-way setup and it sounded very nice. I also used the Seas softdome in a 2-way setup and it is also a nice tweeter.

Do you have a specific budget ?

Yeah I was looking at the SLS 8's. And I was skeptical about the alphas. So you say 3-4" MR? I'll look for some. And I will be looking into those tweets too. As for budget not really one, but the wife is in the process of opening a small clothing/shoe store, so I say 12-1500. For front stage amps hu and speakers

The eminence is crap, I would definitely use a 3 or 4" with the 8. Using a 6.5 gives tyou many negatives and no positives.

I would also add that if you had room for a 6.5" and a neo tweet in the kicks moving up to a full size tweet and a 3 or 4 will also fit. No reason to use a Neo tweeter when you have space for a large format :)

Thanks for the input

Do any good tweets and midranges come to mind? For kick panel aplication
