Im going to get a SX, but my dilemma is what to get. I got a little over 2cubes that im wiling to give up on a daily basis. What im looking at is either a ported 12 or a sealed 15.

I know most will say the 12 just due to basic output levels, but ive always had a hard time putting a single 12 in anyone of my vechicles, ive always gone with a 15.

The only thing that is the saving grace for the 15 is that I DO have this really nice box sitting around at home that I used to have my 15 HC in. And that would work real nice for days I wanna be jut a little louder.

Specs that matter

Amp- kicker kx700.5...yes im well aware of the power it produces compared to the SX rms

Car- Toyota Camry

Beer- In the cooler in the backseat

12" ported > 15" sealed for that woofer.

Do you build boxes in B-lo? Im a long ways away for any tools when im at school.

The only thing that keeps my thinkin about the 15 is that I do have a very nice 4cuft box sitting at home that the SX would love, if I ever desiried to put it in.

Unless either of you have a D4 then it matters none to me if you have one or not. If you do then you better talk to me quick because RE will have my money either today or tomorrow. Njcc if you have a d4 we can arrange to meet somewhere, Or you could come down to G-town for the night and drink with the boys and chase pussy, although here it chases you lol.
