I've posted this on some other places and I'm trying to get some feedback..I've ran into a dilemma. I don't know if I should carpet my door panels or if I should just go ahead and paint them. I have quite a bit of black carpet lying around and I think paint wouldn't be as durable since door panels can flex from every day use and it's kind of tedious prepping plastic for paint.

Four 6.5's in each door.

Yeah, very little though. I got a few ideas from guys over on CA.com, I think I might carpet first them vinyl over that so it would have a good feel to it. I just need the right tools to do that first.

Go with paint, or vinyl. Just my opinion but these look better than carpet.

Use some thin closed cell foam instead of carpet under the vinyl. If you soak the carpet with adhesive it will not have a soft feel...
