Ok, call me retarted.

Good news : The jl w7 8's sound amazing, can't wait for the sundown amp to really give them what they need. It's all installed and the sealed box sounds greaT!

Bad News : I had to run RCA cables outside the car to test my setup. I can't figure out how to take off the dash to wire my rca's. The remote wire was already in the car which made it easy to do.

The car - 1992 Bmw 318i Sedan 4 door.

Any ideas? I searched and took off all visible screws but no budge, am I missing something?

i know nothing about the car but i do know this from messing with cars-

If the dash contours the whole dash and console area, start from the bottom and work your way up. Sometimes you gotta start loosening up pieces all the way at the e-brake if ur dash is made like that.

Also, most newer cars just have their pieces popped into place and may feel as tight as a screw. I know u don't wanna break anything but i am saying that if u can pry a part away from the car, then it's likely just popped into place.

All else fails, go to a BMW dealership and request a print out of how to remove the dash.

Get some plactic dash pry tools and start gently pulling around the trim. See if you can pry it enough to look into the crack and see if they are clips or screws. Sometimes manufacterers like to hide screws, like in air vents and behind pockets that are clipped in.

Just be careful and take your time. Its a beemer, and they are always a little tricky to take apart.
