Hey everyone,

I have two 12" Fi SSD's on their way...I ordered 1-ohm DVC so I could wire them to 1-ohm with my amp.

I found a diagram of how to wire them, but I have a problem. I made my box so that each sub has its own airspace, so I'm going to need a seperate terminal cup for each sub.

Would I wire it like this? (I didn't put the terminal cups in the diagram...but you get the point)

This is the original diagram I found. I guess what I'm asking is, are both diagrams the same?

Thanks!

I can't see the picture here at work, but I'll just say how to wire it. On each sub, wire one voice coil's + to the other's -. Then run the remaining + and - voice coil terminals to the terminal cups on the box. Do the same for the other sub. Then just take both positives from the outside terminal cups and wire it to the positive on the amp, and both negatives from the terminal cups to the negative on the amp.

Thanks a ton both of you!

My amp (hifonics) has two sets of positive and negatives...should I still have both wires coming out of the same positive and negative?

Hifonics includes extra terminals on their amps, but they all connect together inside

so just wire them the first + and - to one sub and the second + and - to the other sub
