I'm not familiar with many people using Diehards on here. If you are looking for a nice affordable battery, I would look into the Deka Intimidator line.

I only ever use Sears deep cycle batteries. They do the job for me and their warranty is good.

Yes the marine platinum's are my favorite. $250 for about the same battery as a Powermaster D3100 with a 3 year warranty.

Batteries are nothing but hype. You think you are paying extra for a battery because it has some magical powers, but in reality, they're all pretty much exactly the same. Just an FYI, there are only 3 or 4 battery manufacturers in the US. Everyone has to buy their batteries from them, and they all use the same technology.
