So I run 2 Pioneer TS-W3002SPL's and now one sub has a horrible mechanical noise at low Hz Cycles and overall chopped and screwed music. I know i fucked it up but is there any specific reason why my sub is broken. They are 1000 RMS subs and I was running them at 300 RMS off a Sundown SAE-1200d at 2 Ohms so the only reason could be massive clipping. One of the subs is still fine though and I don't want to ruin that one as well. What happened and is there any way to fix what I did?

box was too big, port too big, subsonic set too low... Sounds like you bottomed out your sub and damaged it.

Power ratings on speakers are thermal ratings, not mechanical.

Companies cannot give you mechanical ratings EVEN if they told you what box to put it in because there are still other variables involved such as amp settings, impedance rise, box dimensions for volume suggested, etc...
