I have heared lots of Focal speakers, and I have a set of 165KP in my car (I love them !!!). Sometimes I feel like the singer is in my car!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have changed a lot of things in my sound system, but I don't want to change my speakers!!!

The only "bad" point is that I have heared much better tweeters in other cars.

I don't want to change the tweeters because I'm using the passive filters, and they're made for the Focal tweeters ; I am not looking for headaches to find the good ones!!!

The only comp sets I like are some Davis Acoustics, btu I don't think you will find them in the USA. But they sell on their own website, try to google it.

Good luck

If he has a spending limit of $300 there is no way he is going to be able to find an active crossover and a decent set of mids and tweets for that price.......

i think he could if he wanted

clarion dxz785usb HU 150, pair of mli ~100 (i think he already has them), tweets you can find for 50 bucks new or used...

I have a HU Alpine 9887 going in her car. Like I said the $300 is just for the mids, tweets, and crossover if needed.

Selenium ST350 Super Tweeter

The 9887 has a crossover built in.

I would second the idea of moving what you have to her car.
