i didn t know you could successfully use 28sqin of port area for a single 6.5" sub... That's almost the same area as the speaker itself. Won't that cause unloading?

It isn't a sub.

Not sure how you do math. 3" port 1.5*1.5*3.14 is NOT 28sqin and obviously 3" dia << 6.5" driver

On top of that I am not sure I understand what you think you mean by unloading. That driver will KILL a 2" port if you are letting it wail unless you like chuffing that is.
