Posted September 29, 200915 yr Well this system is very basic and the upgrades are coming slowly. The hu is old but it works for now. The 4x6 plates are horrible and the MLI-65's are underway. The Hertz were okay and slammed pretty good especially with the new alt...but the BTL is much nicer. And the alt provides mucho voltage. Those are my first speaker boxes and carpet job ever. Two seperate boxes so it wasnt so heavy and awkward to do by myself. Had to do the round port with simple tuning to 33hz. I made them a touch too big but oh well. Still sounded ok to me. I wanted to cut out the back 4x6 grill on the panel and install some kind of speaker from the deck for cosmetics.
