Picked up a kenwood kdc-hd942u a while back for my mothers scion since she was tired of the stock setup. instead of purchasing a new deck, could i add an external processor to go active..such as the rockford 3sixty?

Depends on your definition of processor. There are some simple crossovers that can be used, but if you need T/A and EQ then a proc is the way to go. What do you need?

The EQ on hu isn't too bad. I've never messed around with T/A, but if its there i'll use it..

I guess processor would be better since it's future proof
