Posted December 22, 200915 yr So I have been rebuilding my system over the past month and have had the subs in and out of the enclosure testing the fit and where I need to go to move forward. I noticed today that the top slug, AA Havoc 12", is mis aligned roughly a 16th of an inch from the others. The coil isn't rubbing anywhere within normal stroke, but I am concerned about this causing issues later after they are installed. Here is a pic.Do you think I should just send it back and have it repaired? Will it be ok? Will it effect performance? I have never had this happen before, so any help would be appreciated. Chris

December 22, 200915 yr No, don't attempt to fix it as it's not broken. It's perfectly fine. I doubt you could move the slugs anyways, they use very heavy duty glue.

I was just not sure about the magnetic field and it possibly pulling the coil, or trying to, to one side as opposed to being linear. This will certainly make today more fun.
