Posted June 29, 200520 yr ok my girls dad bought her a cheap lil boss HU, and whenever she hits a bump it skips, lol, so i was thinking maybe put some sponge or something in thier and it would fix the problem any other ideas?
June 29, 200520 yr Throw it out the window? Seriously, this may sound odd, but everytime I've encountered a skipping CD player, it was not mounted securely. I feel the padding will make it worse.
June 29, 200520 yr clean it ?Cheap CD cleaner disk. If that doesnt fix it then just clean more CD players
June 29, 200520 yr Author its not the cd player, cuz it only happens when a bump or somethin occurs, i'll try to secure it better
July 1, 200520 yr everytime I've encountered a skipping CD player, it was not mounted securely.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I agree with this as I have noticed the same thing. However I have seen padding help for heavy bass hits.
