June 30, 200520 yr Don't bother getting the smaller yellow tops. Get group31 or bigger.I'm not sure about an $85 "group31"You get what you pay for.
June 30, 200520 yr get an optima from sears. then can order any size or color & you can get a 10% discount on wednesdays (i dont remember why). make friends with an employee and get another 10% discount.otherwise, look for a place that sells "Lifeline" batteries. they had a pretty good showing in some testing, here and on the 'net.-Nick

July 1, 200520 yr Yes, Kinetik HC 2400 is your friend. If you can fit them, get a Kinetik HC 2400Yellow Top Group31Odessey PC2150Those are the big dogs ^
July 1, 200520 yr SVR 3000??? Where have I been? Dont see it on there site. And I'll raise bs flag on blue top > yellow top
July 1, 200520 yr I read a post on TP about batteries and brands in specific. If I recall correctly, the Kinectics were nothing more than a rebadge of something else. It can be had by the manufacturer for a fraction of the price the Kinetic is actually sold for.

July 1, 200520 yr I'm pretty sure Kinectic's were designed just for SPL comp cars. I beleive their older stuff was re-badgers. Stinger batts are basically Odessey batts. There is also other knock off type yellow tops.

July 1, 200520 yr Author SVR 100-12 AGM -333$kinetic HC 2400- $449.00Odessey PC2150 $260.95Optima D31A-$195.95The higher priced ones have higher cca'sIs it really that importtant, i dont wanna buy a battery and not notice a change, especially if i can buy a new sub or amp for the same price.lol
July 1, 200520 yr Author http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=optyeloveeven cheaper, 154+ship, for d31edit$38.05 for shipping lolalso i'm still a lil confused, i mean the everstart mxx has 1000cca'sso how is the optima better? Other than being deep cycle?
July 1, 200520 yr go to CA.com there was a Kinetik "group buy" type deal going on...ask Audiolife!!! The prices for the HC2400 are no where near that NG
July 1, 200520 yr I would say get whatever battery fits your budget better, some people have had better luck with the optimas, some with the Kinectics and some with the Odysee. It's really all trial and error for what ever your application would like better. If you cant afford all 3 buy one at a time, test it, sell it until you tried all of them. and found which is better for you.And no you dont want the everstart
