I sent an email a while ago...

You will get about 100 amps at hot idle on the 200 amp and about 130 amps hot idle on the 250 amp, you will get about 150 amps on the 275 amp hot idle.

Justin Tillery <[email protected]> wrote: One last question

What are the idle ratings on the 200 and 250 models?

Also is that hot rating or cold rating?

Thanks,

Justin

:word:

I picked up the 250amp Mustang alt for $300 beans Paypal.

90amp @ idle, 250amp (rms) by 1k rpm. 270amp peak.

Bolted onto a 5.0 no sweat. Have to have the bracket cut down a bit to fit the 2.3L.

I am trying to decide on which I want. The 200 or the 250.

I am going to be running 1500rms on occations and 900rms daily. Currently the stock 105a doesnt like 900rms at any rpm

Just got a quote for our trucks thru the GB. A 250 will run $304 shipped with $17.00 more refunded back to you if more than 10 people buy (gm 5.3L). I am sending paypal tonight (am on unsecure hotel line right now) He said he has sold 6 already so getting more than 10 shouldn't be a prob. I am running about 1450 -1500 daily and my stock alt HATES me. Also got a good quote on the Kinetic battery deal at CA.com, picking that up next week.

Justin.,.. You'll prolly be good on the 200 amp with a decent batt.

I'd say get the 250 for a few bucks more though, in case You feel froggy. :D
