yeah the nightshades were to expensive and I just told jacob my budget and how much power I wanted to run and thats what he came up with.

Ok then, go with the sa 12's.

Don't forget to post pics when you can!

Someday I will try a single nightshade 12 or 15 to see what I can do on the meter!

Okay I have been doing some more looking and found that maybe the Sundowns arent the best deal out there. So what do you guys think would get loudest and lowest out all of these and will any of them handle 2200 rms

1 DC Level 4 with level 5 coils 18

1 DC level 4XL 10

1 FI BL 18

1 AudioQue HDC3 with Aluminum coils size 10 thru 18. So far the only ones I know of that will take the 2200 all day long

2 Sundown Sa-12s

All of these are within like 10 bucks of each other so price wise there the same

Lol

You talk about 'taking power all day long' and want 'loudest and lowest'.

First loudest and what power a sub can take are not related.

Loudest and lowest don't come together. Generically speaking the more your box peaks the higher the low end roll off.

if your max is $500 per sub then a fully loaded fi btl is the first thing that comes to mind. great all around sub espetially for the price.

Yeah so I started thinking running 6k watts is going to cost ALOT in electrical. So I figured I could get 2 subs that handle a little over 2000 watts run them on my Alpine MRP-M1000 for awhile till I can get the funds then switch to either a Sundown 4500 or AudioQue 3500d.1 So any suggestions on subs now?

Come on. :( Remember what I said earlier. Subs & Box BEFORE amp. Goals before sub or box. Really simple.

Thats what I'm trying to do is get the subs I want and by keeping my current amp I will have enough money to make a couple boxes and see whats best with the subs so basically do some low power testing
