February 14, 201015 yr that wont work. i think its because of cancellation issues with different waves from different size woofers. either get another hx2 or sell it and get 2 of something else.
February 14, 201015 yr Ya, big no to two different sized woofers. and if you want a good deck for cheap, in my opinion you can get a cheaper kenwood excelon deck. Some of there models are a little overpriced but if you dig around you can find a good deal, I have one and I love it. I have there best model though, but still nice clear sound is in all there excelon models. Here is a link to a good deck..http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_21642_Kenwood_Excelon_KDC-X693.aspx Edited February 14, 201015 yr by Small Town Audiophile
February 14, 201015 yr You don't have to focus on pre-out voltage for the h u. YOu just need to set the gain correctly : it's made for that!
February 14, 201015 yr Adding another size of woofers is a not a good idea! Cancellation will be a problem! If you're looking for more why not try tuning a little higher like around 35hz.
February 14, 201015 yr As others stated, terrible idea to just add another woofer. You have to replace what you have, not add to it.Also, you don't need 4-5V outputs, not at all what I'd recommend looking for spec wise when digging for a head unit.A more general budget and goals would get you a lot further to meeting what you want.
