Im thinking about building a box for my magnum D2s which would be about 2.5cuft a sub and the box will be tuned to 34hz. Is that too much? Do you think i need to have a 2.0cuft box tuned to 32hz? Im not doing any competitions, but i listen to ALOT of rap. And i want something that will make my subs pound insanely yet hit EVERY note of bass while doing it. I dont want the subs to bottom out or nothing when the bass drops too low. So is the 2.5 ok or should i reduce it to 2.0. And what about the tuning frequency?

Yep, what Kevin said. You don't need to go larger than 2 cu. ft. but you can do it if you want. I would definately lower the tuning to 28/30 Hz (as recommended on our web page).

...that is...assuming your 2 or 2.5 cu. ft. is after port and driver(s) displacement.
