What exactly does this do to the amp?

Also are the prices listed on the website the actual prices? I've never looked into these amps before, and they look real nice!!

Ive been looking at the Duece amp, heard nothing but great things about them.

The leviathan is just what im looking for in a Daily driver amp. 100x4@4 & 400x2@2 or 800x1@4

Thats damn near perfect, do you have any idea about how much the price is supposed to be on them? And when they are supposed to hit production. Id love to buy one of those!

Ive been there before, a LONG LONG time ago....

They didnt have that many amps though

I am patiently awaiting the Kronos for my 6 channel active setup. I talked to Steve last week and all amps are being shipped with the BB update. It is just a better DA conversion op amp that adds "warmth" to the signal with less jitter.

Price is supposed to be ~$1,000 last I heard.

Unless they are using any digital processing scheme internally like the Alpine Class D digital amps do.

They are quite impressive amps, Hammer directed me to some good readings on them!

Hefty price tag though!

Compared to brands like Profile, Hifonics and RF Punch they are salty price wise. But, considering the amps are of the same quality of stuff like the higher end Zapco, Tru Tech, Arc XXK......they are relative steals for their price.

Yes they are and thats why im looking into them. Ive never owend a real high end amp and I want too.

I hear alot of complaints about the look of them, but I like the older simple look. I guess the new ones are going to have old english writing on the shroud. Should be alright.

Burr Brown OPamps and Burr Brown DACs are 2 different things folks. Let's not get them confused.

The Kronos and Levthan (I have been told) will come standard with the Burr brown OPamps.

They will not have any DACs however (no digital inputs on these amps).

I dream of a Levithan for the 3 way set up front, and a Kronos on the substage myself. :D

Using a Nakamichi Amp made by Zed Audio currently in my work van, and it seems fine. But these big amps are going to be quite special.

Did I mention that I picked the name Leviathan?

The Hammer

That was me that mentioned the DACs, I was trying to do paper work, read thru some threads, and setup my week, BB op amps are way different than BB Dacs (was reading thru some info on HDCD's and just had DACS on my mind) The BB sets in the ZED just provide a cleaner signal thru-put and add a little warmth to the sound. My bad. :banhim:
