This is in off topic because this is just a entertaining thought, no real plans to follow through.... yet.

I use the TBlazer too much to take up the cargo room.

I don't want to add weight to the Mustang.

So what about picking up a small (Ranger / S-10) beater pickup for competition?

I'm thinking:

Extended cab 2 door for a wall (figure 10-12cubes gross)

Extended cab 2 door for a blowthrough (fill the bed with vB and have 2-4 woofers & port in the ext cab area)

Reg. cab with cut trough (think XXX truck on RofE)

Any opinions?

I have an install in mind and have been emailing with a few manufacturers regarding it... but as I said a while ago, the Trailblazer is done.

I dont really want to put a wall in the notch, but I can get what I need out of it.

this idea is just fodder, or day dreams at the moment...

I figure as much as the newbs ramble on about "i might do this, I wanna do this, could I do this"... I figured I could put one up!

with an xcab s10, u won't need a wall..those bastages are as loud as crx's and explorers. i say throw the uber in one, give her about 3 cubes (yes small box) and all the power u have...lol...

but if ur thinking blow thru..get the standard cab..and a bed topper...remove the back window (no sheet metal to cut), and build ur box to come in thru there. that way when ur done, u can take everything out and sell the truck....
