Posted March 16, 201015 yr hi guys on my omega i checked the ohm load on each coil i got 1.7 on one and 3.2 on the other coil what the hell happen? this sub works fine no coil rub
March 16, 201015 yr make sure the batteries are good in your dmm. Maybe touch the two leads together and zero it out too.They should both be 1.7 if not a problem could be developing.What made you want to check it? Does it sound different?

Does it sound different?im trying to sell it and he wanted me to test it for him i tested it more than once same exact numbers. what would cause this?
March 17, 201015 yr voice coil may be going out.what would cause that?Got too hot.It does not appear blown or it would be reading some crazy ass number, but it does appear to be damaged.
