just a fast question guys

i have an 18" btl fully loaded, i have it running off a saz-2000D. i have my sub wired down to 1 ohm. my question is, should i have my sub wired to the amp bridged or not?

right now i dont have it bridged and it slaps hard. but i just saw a vid with the same setup pretty much and his was bridged on the amp

thanks an advance fellaz

You only have one sub? the internal bridge is for hooking up 2 subs.

For example I have 2 D1 coil subs, I wire my subs to 2 ohm and hook both pair of speaker wires to the amp and it bridges it to 1 ohm internally.

yes sir, just 1 btl for now

It wont help you in your case. You are already at 1 ohm.

even if you sent wire from each sub coil to each amp terminal the best the amp could do would be to give you what you have now.

yeah thats what i thought. i just figured i would ask. i was cerious why the guy gad it ran birdged with 1 sub and 1 amp

thanks lancelot

The 2000D is a mono amp. There is no bridging. At all. Bridging is when you wire together two channels. Since the 2000D is a mono channel, it is a physical impossibility to bridge that amp. There are two outputs on the amp for ease of wiring, but using the + on one side and the - on the other is NOT bridging. Whoever said he is bridging that amp, if that's the same amp he's using, is wrong.
