Posted April 14, 201015 yr Hello all, I'm thinking of placing a Dcon 10" in a 1cf box ported and wanted to use a 3" port because of size/length restrictions, for 33hz I calculated it to be 15.3" long, is a 3" pvc good enough?
April 14, 201015 yr Welcome .... Precision Port (aero) would have to be 1" longer to account for the flare. PVC will work, just remember to smooth the edges.

I'm running a Kicker ZX 500.1, and listen to mostly House, rock and some hip hop. I'm worried about port noise as this is going in the rear center floor of a 2009 F150 Supercrew. April 14, 201015 yr Personally I would bump up the enclosure to 1.25ft^3 and use 1 4" Precision Port roughly 23" in lenght.I have mine in a 1.3ft^3 tuned to 33hz in my truck and it is powered off a Sundown SAZ-1000D. I used a slot port.
