Ok well I'm basically new to the whole audio game, I've mostly always been a gearhead but to many speeding tickets and close calls made me realize that I need to find something else thatscar related and enjoyable. Which turned me onto car audio. I just recently got into the car audio game and am ready to upgrade my factory speakers. I already have my sub stage done and my car is already deadened. The factor speaker location places 2 tweeters on the top of the dash aiming att he curve of the windshield.(My guess would be to reflect back at he passangers? :S). Both the front and rear doors and 6.5's In them and my rear deck lid has 2 6x9's.

Any speaker suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Passive = A designed crossover network utilizing coils, caps and resisitors.

Active = Electronicaly crossed over utilizing head unit, amplifier or other processor.

Well all of this has to be done through the stock headunit because as of right now there isnt an aftermarket headunit swap kit, due to the fact my car's headunit is built into the dash with climate controls etc. I currently have my amp wired to my headunit, that wont cause any problems when it comes to upgrading and possibly amplifying my new speakers? :ehh:

Not a problem as long as the OEM head unit has a speaker level to line level (RCA) converter. Or your amp's have speaker level inputs.

My sub amp has the speaker level inputs. I have It tapped into my rear 6x9's. So when it comes to amplifying a front stage is it possible to use one amp for both my highs and mids or would it require seperate amps?

Either (1) 4 channel or (2) 2 channel amps.
