It has front rear and sub out so yes.

Pay attention :noob: , no it's won't. It only has 2 RCA pre-outs on back. They can be switched to front, rear, or sub.

You are correct, I did not read switchable.

They would, but you would loose your front to back fade. If you care at all.

The ride is a ext cab pick up, all 4 6.5s are in the driver/passenger doors. So, front to back fade doesn't even matter.. right?

It shouldn't, as all the speakers are in front you anyway.

what's up Bangin'? I'm liking your build! What's the deal with a Kenwood deck? Thought you were an ////Alpine man all the way? I looked at this receiver on Crutchfield and it says only the rear output is switchable from rear to sub. When it's switched over for sub that output becomes non-fading? this is directly from the site

"The rear preamp outputs can be set in the menu to output a full range signal to the rear channels, or a filtered signal to a subwoofer. When set to subwoofer, the output typically has a selectable low-pass filter and is non-fading."

It will make your amp blow up.

Of course it will work. You can make any head unit work with any amp. And since you wouldn't care if you need fade controls, you could just use one RCA output and Y adapters if you need to.

Thanks man, and this shitty kenwood deck came with the truck.. well, its not shitty, it actually works amazing. It just doesn't have enough features for my set-up. I love /////Alpine! I am going to get an Alpine deck, just been busy with all this mumbo-jumbo. I might switch out the head unit in my dodge dakota with this one. Its a JVC single dim, plays dvds, all that shit.. it should have the features i need in this set up. I haven't checked it out in quite some time.

Its the modle before this: JVC KD-AVX77 (kdavx77) - Car Stereo In-Dash Receiver at Sonic Electronix - Sonic Electronix

I tried trading this guy an AQ2200 for his Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. but it was a no-go.. people that only know mainstream think everything else is some off brand shit but i thought i'd give it a try..

I might make a trade post if anyone is willing to do that trade.

I didn't say that. My first comment was sarcasm.

Hard to tell sarcasm in text, my fault.

But that is nice that it will work. :D
