my friend has a 92 ford taurus with a 130 amp alternator and wants to upgrade his system to a audiopipe 15001d is his electrical sufficient enough for that amp or would he need a second battery in the trunk

we already did the big 3 in 1/0 knukonceptz kollossus flex

I would go with the second battery just for that extra reserve, headroom, and the chance of not needing jumpercables so much.

It will probably be fine. I have a Sundown 1200D and a 4 channel amp on my 135 amp alternator with stock battery and no problems at all.

I agree, I just perfer the extra ... well,,, extra. thats all.

I play the crap out mine alot. shows, demos, comps, and parking lots. And of course some Sammy Hagar (I can't drive 55) on the highway !! :lol2:

ok thanks ill have him buy a shurniken skbt-100 that should be plenty big

i agree with cable guy with an extra reserve batt but you should be fine
