Hi,

I'm going to build a new system in the next month or so and at the moment this is what I'm looking at getting.

1 Fi BTL 12" or 15"

MB Quart 1500 watt amp (I'll add more power when I upgrade my electrical further)

However, I found a 15" Ascendant Audio Chaos on craigslist for $220 with a 4 cubic ft. enclosure. The guy says its in good condition and has only been running on 500wrms. I don't know anything about the AA line of subs. Which Fi sub would it compare to? Would it be worth the extra money to get the BTL? My goal is the loudest system under $800

heres the link to the post: Ascendant auidio 15" Chaos W/4cube ported box

Thanks,

Joe

where do you buy your MDF ? lol.. for a whole sheet at lowes its damn near $60 if i remember right

$8.95 A Sheet Where I Live, You Mofo's Getting Ripped Off.

A sheet is around 36 here in good ol indiana. I've bought about 5 sheets in the last 3 weeks. Lol

Guys he isnt asking about MDF prices. He is wondering if the sub and enclosure is worth 220. I personally have no experience with AA subs. I heard they are good. But hear say is just that hear say. Ask to hear it I guess. I mean it seems way underpowered so it wont perform that well anyway. Do what you want. The ultimate choice is yours and yours alone.
