Posted May 2, 201015 yr I bought all of Johnathan Prices' old component sets for a real good price, a few of the crossovers were….. well shitty and unusable. But I am MORE than ok with that. My question is, could I run 2 mids & 2 tweets off one crossover? I wired up a 2 mids & 2 tweets to a crossover to check the ohm load at the “input” space and it was at 3.44ohm.If not then I’ll just run the tweets off radio and mids off 100.4 till I find a cheap 50.4.
May 2, 201015 yr No.Passive crossovers are designed to be used with a specific impedance. Deviating very far from that impedance will change the crossover points as well as render anything else designed into the passives to be virtually useless.

I'll just use radio for tweets for temp.
