Posted May 11, 201015 yr Ok, I have a 2005 Colorado Extreme, it is a standard cab truck. I am uncertian on the size of the box that is currently in it, but I was wondering if there is enough space there to run a ported box housing 2 10" kicker L7's and do it neatly? Right now the box I have has the Amp Flush mounted in the box behind the driver seat, and the 2 10" L5's behind the passanger seat. Sounds good as it, but looking to be a little louder! Here is a link to the truck as it is now. I posted them on Kicker's web page for this very reason. KICKER Hooked UpIf this can be done....can the box be wrapped in glass, and painted eventually? Thanks,Chad

May 12, 201015 yr depth between the two is not much. On paper the L7's should only be about 12.5 percent louder than the L5's, there is not a huge difference in xmax between the two. If it was my vehicle I would sell the kicker stuff, and get a Sundown amp with two ICON 10's. It will be as loud as the kickers, cheaper and sound a lot cleaner. As far as the custom work goes anything could be done, depending on the installer and your budget.
