MTX re-Q, Fosgate's 3.sixty, JL's Cleansweep...there's a metric crap-ton of these Factory stereo processing units out there. Anybody got any experience with any of them? Are they even worth it?

Whether or not they are "worth it" really depends on your factory system and what exactly it is you are trying to accomplish. Without more details about what you are trying to accomplish and what system you are trying to integrate, it's going to be difficult to really provide meaningful information.

I'll be adding SAZ-1500D to a Maxima. I'll be adding SAZ-1000D and SAX-100.4 to a BMW 335i. I like the factory look of the audio controls. I am not designing a SQ system by any means. I am just putting together a couple of daily driver systems.

I have had experience with the 3.sixty.2 integrating a system into a new denali, seemed to work well. Downside was that you need a PDA or Palmpilot to do the adjusting.

So what, exactly, was the benefit of using the 3.sixty.2 vice using the stock unit? I guess I just don't understand exactly what the thing does...

You get an equalizer and can set distance corrections. The JL cleansweep looks a lot better to me, comes with microphones to calibrate your speakers, and a touch screen. I've never used either unit myself though.
