Posted July 7, 201015 yr im getting 4 cvr 12s i was planing on getting the aq1200 but now my friend suggested getting 2 zx750.1s i was want to see your guys opinions on what to do aq1200 is 249 shipped and 1 750.1 is 230 shipped the only thing i dont like about the zx is the low pass says 50-200hz so will it not hit the low cause if it wont i dont want it
July 7, 201015 yr lol, you're not comprehending it right, check what the subsonic filter range is on the kicker amp.
July 7, 201015 yr Low Pass Filter : let the lower notes pass ! So if it says 50 to 200, it's a sub amp : it will allow notes from the lowest to 50 until 200 hz to pass. You adjust where you want to cut it , usually around 80-100 Hz.The SSF (SubSonic Filter) is set from factory on the Kicker amps at 25 Hz if I remember correctly. It's not the best choice. These 2 amps, and many more, will "give you plenty lows", .......but only if you have the right box for the subs.2 Kicker 750.1 will cost you more than 1 AQ. I don't think you will notice a difference in output from you subs. Be careful with the VC config. There are dozens of 1500 watts amps on the market, I would not buy the 2 Kickers. 2 amps for just 1500 watts : no way !Take a look at the store here.Good luck
July 7, 201015 yr No benefit to two amps instead of one.And as was pointed out, the 50-200hz range is simply the range of the lowpass crossover....not the frequency response of the amplifier.
